  Announcements

From AHS Student Activities Office: 626 815-34221967We taped a highlight video of the 50th anniversary weekend celebration at AHS. The video will include highlights of the weekend and will also contain a video collage of each of the decades at AHS…many pictures from newspapers and yearbooks…and also video highlights from AHS’s very first varsity football game in 1957! The price of our video is $30 and will benefit Student Activities at AHS. We are also accepting donations from alumni who want to help us renovate our big AZTEC DRUM. We need $2,000 to buy new “heads”, new parts, and to have it repainted.

Please - To anyone who took pictures of the 50th aniversary events, I would appreciate very much to have copies for this web site. I couldn't make it to Azusa for this. A CD in the US Mail would be perfect but an email would be OK too. Thank You!

After going to a good friend's daughter's 2005 HS Graduation in Lander Wyoming this spring I was inspired on what to do with these pages. Their valedictorian spoke of her years in HS, she remembered their freshman initiation.. Running in their pajamas down the main street in this small town yelling "Seniors rule, freshman drool" and that they were the last class to receive an initiation. All of the speakers spoke of September 11th and how it has been a big part of their life in HS. Their program that was passed out at the door had their class motto, class flower, etc.

SO! Tell me, who was your class? What was happening in the world during your years at AHS? Did you have a class motto? Did you have a class prank? (I know some classes had some doozies) How was your class initiated? What do you want us to remember about your class? Click on your year above, look around and email me from the link on that page.
